ABOUT THE PROJECT

Payvein is developing a payment and identification system based on finger vein biometrics. The technology uses a special reader that scans a unique arrangement of veins to create a biometric “signature” of the user.

The solution enables identity confirmation and payment processing in less than 2 seconds – without the use of cards, passwords or mobile devices. The system can be used in commerce, banking, transportation, mass events and access control systems.

WHAT NEEDS DOES THE INNOVATION ADDRESS?
