Real Research is a leader in developing 3D Cell Culture tools and services. Its mission is to revolutionize life sciences by providing more efficient cell culture models. The company’s main product is LifeGel, an innovative hydrogel that enables cell culture in 3D, significantly improving the reliability of research results compared to traditional 2D cultures. The innovation using LifeGel brings to market highly resistant in vitro pancreatic cancer models, or laboratory cancer cell culture systems

WHAT NEEDS DOES THE INNOVATION ADDRESS?

Traditional drug testing methods often require lengthy animal studies. Technologies developed by Real Research make it possible to test drugs outside the human and animal body. Every cancer has unique characteristics, and with Real Research’s 3D models, it is possible to precisely map the tumor microenvironment and test therapies tailored to individual patient characteristics, increasing the effectiveness of treatment. 3D models such as Real Research allow for a more accurate analysis of how drugs will affect the patient, as well as analysis of the side effects of therapies.

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES

The 3D tumor cell culture technology offered by Real Research could revolutionize the efficiency of drug discovery in oncology (which currently stands at 2.8 in the first phase). The main problem with competing technologies is the high level of false positives and false negatives.
