New Technologies and Industry 4.0

COAT-IT

COAT-IT
Coatings that are changing the industry

ABOUT THE PROJECT

COAT-IT is a Polish deep-tech startup based in Pulawy, Poland, specializing in the development of innovative protective coatings and automation of industrial plating and painting processes. The company was founded by scientists and engineers who combined academic experience with industrial practice to create cutting-edge solutions for the chemical and manufacturing sectors. COAT-IT technology makes it possible to significantly increase the efficiency and safety of coating processes, reduce waste and reduce the environmental impact of production. This is an example of how science and business can work together in Poland to create solutions with global potential – from laboratories to Industry 4.0 production lines.

WHAT NEEDS DOES THE INNOVATION ADDRESS?

– Automation of traditional industrial processes – replacing repetitive manual labor with intelligent chemical and robotic systems.
– Sustainability and ecology – reducing emissions and raw material consumption in electroplating processes.
– Occupational safety – reducing human contact with toxic chemicals.
– High quality and precision – a new generation of coatings that better protect metals from corrosion and wear.
– Industry 4.0 – implementing intelligent, digitally controlled production processes in Polish factories.

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES

COAT-IT combines academic research with commercial production to create solutions that are ready for implementation. The processes are environmentally friendly, supporting a closed-loop economy. This is Industry 4.0 in practice – real-time digital monitoring and optimization of chemical processes. The R&D model enables co-creation of solutions with partners from different industries (metallurgy, automotive, electronics.
