WIDMO
A revolution in subsurface imaging: deeper, clearer and smarter

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The innovative Spectral Ground-Penetrating Radar (SGPR) technology enables precise, non-invasive imaging of subsurface structures, which is extremely valuable, for example, in mining or construction. Compared to traditional methods, SGPR allows exploration at much greater depths and generates hyperspectral images with extremely high resolution. The use of advanced software automates the analysis of the vast amounts of data collected by the device, making the hardware the “eye” and the software the “brain” of the technology.

WHAT NEEDS DOES THE INNOVATION ADDRESS?

SGPR technology enables precise imaging of subsurface structures, even at great depths. Its application speeds up exploration processes, reduces costs and minimizes geological risks, supporting better planning and implementation of investments. In mining, it allows, among other things, rapid, non-invasive mapping of deposits or monitoring of mining damage, and in construction it helps reduce delays and additional expenses resulting from unexpected ground conditions. It also enables effective detection of geohazards, such as voids or areas prone to sinkholes. SGPR technology also has applications in civil engineering and infrastructure monitoring.

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES

SGPR technology provides deeper penetration – allowing exploration of much greater depths than traditional GPR, enabling more accurate analysis of the subsurface. It gives high resolution, which increases the precision of detecting geological structures and underground objects. It is non-invasive and fast – an innovation that significantly reduces the need for drilling or excavation, significantly reducing the time and cost of field investigations. Moreover, it gives higher efficiency and generates lower costs. It allows subsurface surveys to be conducted more economically and efficiently, reducing expenses and delays.
