5 Polish technologies that the world may envy us

Synerise – AI that really understands humans

Imagine an artificial intelligence that not only analyzes your actions, but learns your motivation, emotions, even humor. That’s how BaseModel.AI from Synerise – the world’s first foundation model for behavioral data – works.

It’s the Polish answer to ChatGPT, but not in text or image processing, but in analyzing human behavior. The Synerise model can understand what inspires people, what discourages them, what motivates them. And it does this not for hundreds, but for millions of users at a time.

Winning at the prestigious ACM SIGIR conference, organizing the Recsys Challenge in 2025 – this only confirms one thing: Polish AI is just becoming the standard.

Asymmetric Numeral Systems – coding that your phone knows

You may not know its name, but you use it every day. ANS, or Asymmetric Numeral Systems, is a Polish data compression algorithm created by Jaroslaw Duda that has revolutionized the global standard for storing information.

It has replaced obsolete methods (like Huffman encoding) and is used in products from Google, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft, NVIDA and Linux. It makes photos, files and data smaller, faster to transfer, cheaper to store and less energy intensive.

This is the language of modern digital reality – invented in Poland.

Holo4Labs – a lab where data floats in the air

Laboratories still operate with notepad and pipette. But not in Poland. Holo4Labs is a Mixed Reality system that turns the lab into an interactive 3D space: with holograms of procedures, a touchless interface and automatic recording of results.

The employee sees in the Microsoft HoloLens goggles exactly what he is supposed to do – step by step. The data goes into the LIMS systems in real time. The result? Fewer errors, faster training, full regulatory compliance.

This is the laboratory of the future. Only that it is already working today. And we created it.

Orlen x Willbert Amber II – chargers that charge faster than you imagine

In the world of electromobility, Poland is not just keeping up. Poland is setting the direction. Euroloop and WILLBERT are the most advanced electric vehicle charging system in Europe.

The Amber II S-HUB charger offers up to 720 kW of power for eight vehicles simultaneously. The HAWKe system integrates payments (PayBERT), advertising (AdBERT), purchasing (BuyBERT) and business analytics (BizBERT). It’s more than a charger. It’s a data, service and profit center.

This technology gives a global advantage.

Globtank – a breakthrough in 3D printing

You can print figures. You can print houses. But the Poles printed… a drinking water tank. And the largest in the world.

Globtank, in partnership with Holcim and Cobod, has created the world’s first certified 300-meter water tank using 3D concrete printing technology. No formwork. No rebar. In 38 hours.

Printing has reduced the number of transports, lowered the carbon footprint and… changed the way we think about infrastructure. It’s not just a construction innovation. It’s an answer to the global problem of drinking water shortages.

Poland 5.0 is no joke

Each of these technologies proves one thing: Poland is not a base of innovation. Poland is their source. These are the technologies that are creating new realities, redefining standards and putting us in line with the world’s biggest players. And guess what? The world may envy us! We are persistently emphasizing this in the We Did It In Poland campaign, which aims to strengthen national pride and social identity by inspiring Polish women and men to appreciate the value and strength of our country, building a sense of community around Poland’s successes, and engaging the public in activities that promote the achievements of Poles, so that everyone can be a part of them.
