ABOUT THE PROJECT

Ultre 4 Cargo is a revolutionary micro electric vehicle (L7e-CU) created for urban logistics. At the heart of the innovation is FiDU Frame™ technology, a proprietary matrix-free process for shaping the ultralight steel structure. The vehicle combines the agility of a bicycle with the cargo capacity of a van, offering as much as 4 m³ of cargo space at just 3.4 m in length. It’s a smart “work tool” that redefines last-mile transportation thanks to its modularity and simple design.

WHAT NEEDS DOES THE INNOVATION ADDRESS?

Today’s cities face traffic jams and a lack of unloading areas, and last-mile logistics are the most expensive link in e-commerce. Ultre 4 Cargo addresses the need for nimble, zero-emission transportation that fits into narrow streets while offering space for packages up to 2.8 meters long. It solves the high TCO of traditional vans and the payload limitations of cargo bikes. Provides couriers with ergonomic working conditions (ability to stand inside and low loading threshold), eliminating the difficulties associated with deliveries in dense housing and clean transportation zones.

The Ultre 4 Cargo outclasses rivals with its lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) and record-breaking performance, as well as available square footage in a micro vehicle. Patented FiDU technology eliminates expensive dies, enabling low-cost customization and production at local microfactories. A key advantage is the unique volume-to-size ratio: 4 m³ cargo with a turning radius of just 4.2 m. The vehicle offers the strength of steel, access to parcels from both sides, and an “autonomous-ready” design.
