WHAT NEEDS DOES THE INNOVATION ADDRESS?

The rapid changes brought about by the growth of artificial intelligence capabilities will cause profound changes in the structure of the economy, society and civilization. Humanity forms a global community, but each person is unique. Societies function cohesively because we can build mental models of other people. Mental models allow us to predict what makes other people happy, what behaviors are best avoided, what is fun and what is boring. What motivates and inspires, and what causes boredom or discomfort. Knowing how someone else might react is the foundation of our civilization. As humans, we do this naturally, but our abilities have not evolved to extend beyond a few dozen people in our immediate communities. Caring for millions or billions of people is a superhuman task, and we use artificial intelligence to solve it.

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES

Synerise won a competition organized by Rakuten Institute of Technology at the prestigious ACM SIGIR International Conference on Research and Development in Information Retrieval, held in Xi’an, China. The Synerise team used its latest developments in artificial intelligence, including its proprietary EMDE algorithm, an efficient method for density estimation on differentiable manifolds in recommender systems.

Synerise and BaseModel.AI will co-host the Recsys Challenge in 2025, a competition that is one of the world’s most important competitions in the field of recommender systems and enjoys great prestige, especially in academic circles and industries related to data analysis and artificial intelligence.
