ABOUT THE PROJECT

SpaceForest is an innovative Polish technology company from Gdynia, operating since 2004, which designs and commercializes advanced solutions in the areas of radar, microwave, electronics, artificial intelligence and rocket and space technologies. The company combines research and development with production of its own systems and subsystems – both for the space industry and the defense, aerospace and telecommunications sectors.

WHAT NEEDS DOES THE INNOVATION ADDRESS?

SpaceForest is responding to the need for access to cutting-edge surveillance, communications and spaceflight technologies, especially in an era of growing demand for satellite data, advanced radar systems and suborbital rocket development. Its solutions – such as synthetic aperture radars (SARs) and advanced RF and microwave electronics – support applications in surveillance, security and telecommunications, while its ongoing rocket projects enable testing experiments in microgravity and the development of suborbital technologies.

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES

SpaceForest is developing its own high-resolution SAR systems and advanced microwave filters and RF solutions to support terrain imaging, motion detection and communications in harsh environments.

The company provides full support from concept and design, through prototyping, to device and software production, minimizing technology risks and reducing deployment time in space and industrial applications.

SpaceForest is developing its own research rockets, such as Perun, capable of lifting experiments and research payloads in microgravity, and such projects have the potential for the first Polish suborbital launches.
