ABOUT THE PROJECT

CloudFerro enables and simplifies the use of big data by providing Polish sovereign cloud services – that is, computing power and storage – over the Internet. It breaks down technological and financial barriers, enabling government institutions, research centers and companies to turn data into information and make the right decisions based on data.

CloudFerro provides Europe’s largest repository of satellite data from the European Copernicus Earth Observation Program, integrated with a cloud environment for its analysis. It also offers end-to-end AI solutions, combining high-performance computing infrastructure with ready-to-use AI models.

WHAT NEEDS DOES THE INNOVATION ADDRESS?

Cloud computing allows data to be stored and processed on remote servers, enabling access from anywhere, scaling resources as needed, and high data availability. CloudFerro’s cloud computing is used to process large data sets, including some of the world’s largest repositories of Earth observation satellite data, which are located on servers in Poland, available instantly, free of charge to everyone. The data is used in a variety of industries – environmental studies, air pollution, climate analysis, agricultural crop optimization, geospatial management, emergency management and many others.
