NRG Project is a company that designs and manufactures energy storage systems based on LFP technology. The company’s solutions are intended for various sectors, including industry, the energy sector, and installations utilizing renewable energy sources.

The company also develops its own EMS/SCADA class energy management systems, which enable monitoring of installation operation, controlling energy flows, and optimizing the use of energy storage facilities. NRG Project also implements solutions for photovoltaic and wind farms, integrating energy storage with renewable energy infrastructure.

One of the company’s implementations is an industrial energy storage system operating in the Enea network in Bydgoszcz. Its task is to support the stabilization of network parameters in an area where a large number of installations utilizing renewable energy sources operate.

WHAT NEEDS DOES THE INNOVATION ADDRESS?

The increasing share of energy produced from renewable sources increases the need for flexible management of the power system. Energy production from photovoltaic and wind installations depends on weather conditions, so its level can change rapidly and may not always match the current demand of consumers.

In locations with many renewable energy installations, this can lead to greater fluctuations in grid parameters and make it difficult to maintain stable operation. Therefore, the ability to temporarily store surplus energy and feed it back into the grid when needed becomes a significant challenge.

NRG Project addresses these needs through the development of industrial energy storage systems combined with EMS/SCADA management systems. The company’s solutions allow for controlling the charging and discharging process of storage units, monitoring installation parameters, and better adapting system operation to current grid conditions.
