We Did It In Poland: TOP 5 Polish innovations that are conquering the world

Booksy – bookings 24/7, no phone calls and no stress

Is it possible to book an appointment with a hairdresser, physiotherapist or car mechanic without waiting for opening hours? With Booksy – by all means. This Polish app allows you to book services online in no time, while offering full business management support. Since 2015, the company has transformed from a local startup into a global leader in the beauty & wellness category. It now operates in the US, the UK, Spain and France, with nearly 50 million users.

Booksy Med, the latest product developed for physiotherapists, shows that the company is not resting on its laurels. It is growing rapidly, entering new industries and creating unique technological solutions that make life easier for both customers and service providers.

InPost – parcels picked up on the way to get bread

InPost has changed the face of logistics in Poland and throughout Europe. Thanks to Paczkomaty®, which today can be found on every corner (more than 25 thousand in Poland alone!), receiving parcels has become fast and convenient. And what is additionally important – also environmentally friendly. Customers can send and receive parcels at any time of day or night. Often on the way to work, on a walk or returning from shopping.

InPost Group has handled more than 1 billion parcels in 2024, and the network of machines already covers nine European countries. The new international parcel service integrates eight markets into one cohesive system. And that’s not all – by 2040 InPost plans to achieve climate neutrality (NET-ZERO)!

BLIK – the king of mobile payments

BLIK is more than a code – it’s a lifestyle for Poles. Since its appearance in 2015, BLIK has changed the way we pay for purchases, transfer money and withdraw cash. The solution is already used by 18.5 million users, and its contribution to Polish GDP is as high as 1.2% – as much as spending on higher education.

BLIK enables not only online and landline payments, but also phone number transfers, contactless, deferred or recurring payments. As of 2024, BLIK has completed 2.4 billion transactions, making it the leader among European mobile payment systems. It is already operational in Slovakia and Romania, with more markets waiting in line.

inStreamly – micro streamers, macro effects

How do you reach Generation Z, which ignores almost all traditional advertising? Polish company inStreamly, which has created the world’s largest network of micro streamers, has the answer. It already unites more than 150,000 creators in 20 countries. Their innovative technology allows brands to display dynamic, contextual ads during live broadcasts that respond to in-game events, the streamer’s words and even chat activity.

A revolution in digital marketing, inStreamly makes it possible for thousands of creators to automatically collaborate with big brands, which means greater reach and authentic audience engagement. The system allows micro streamers to finally make money and brands to effectively cut through the digital noise and increase awareness by up to 15 percentage points. This is the technology of the future that is happening here and now – made in Poland.

Polish innovation on the offensive

These five companies show that Poland is not only great food and beautiful landscapes, but also a country of technological visionaries who are not afraid to think globally and act with flair.
