ABOUT THE PROJECT

The SiDLY Vital Care telemedicine armband is a certified medical device designed for the health and safety of seniors. It offers precise monitoring of vital signs (e.g., heart rate and saturation), helping in preventive health care and quick response to alarming signals. It has a built-in fall sensor that automatically detects danger and an SOS button that allows users to call for help independently and immediately. The wristband supports seniors in maintaining their independence, improving their quality of life and giving their families greater peace of mind. It integrates with a dedicated mobile and web app, allowing for health and activity analysis.

To date, SiDLY has detected 12600 cardiac events, diagnosed 6900 neurological events, recorded 10500 sudden falls, and conducted 45000 teleconsultations.

At the same time, the healthcare system is struggling with a shortage of medical personnel, especially geriatricians and caregivers, making it difficult to provide consistent, individualized care to each senior.
