The technology does not rely on temporary gas storage in tanks. Carbon dioxide is bound in stable mineral compounds, making the risk of its re-release very low.  <br><br>The solution can simultaneously support agriculture. Serpentinite provides the soil with magnesium and other nutrients needed by plants, and also helps reduce its acidification. As a result, applying the rock to fields can combine CO\u2082 removal with improved growing conditions.\nThe company is conducting research on the use of serpentinite in the cultivation of cereals, corn, and potatoes, among others.
