The project was initiated by Polish Airports S.A. It enables real-time visualization, localization and identification of objects in the maneuvering field thanks to the integration of data from various surveillance sources and the use of a multi-radar tracker. It incorporates safety functions, monitors runways and restricted areas, and detects potential conflicts between objects through RMCA (Runway Monitoring and Conflict Alerting).   <br><br>\r\nThe entire project takes into account the most important mission of Polish Airports S.A., namely to ensure the safe operation of Chopin Airport. This project proves that in a world of advanced technology and process automation, dialogue, cooperation and understanding of each other's needs are still crucial to the implementation of complex systems. Traditional air traffic control (ATC) systems are costly, focused on the needs of the air traffic control tower and often do not meet the specifics of ground operations.   <br><br>\r\nAirport GTS integrates multiple surveillance data into a single, intuitive interface, increasing situational awareness and minimizing the risk of human error and lane incursions. The system facilitates ground traffic management. \r\n","opis_przewag":"Airport GTS is a system characterized by: <br>- unique functionality - most ground traffic monitoring systems are oriented to the needs of air traffic controllers, not the operational needs of airport ground services; <br>- increased airport safety and efficiency; <br>- cost-effectiveness - unlike expensive ATC (air traffic control) tools, it is tailored to the capabilities of medium and large airports; <br>- scalability and flexibility - thanks to its modular architecture, the system can be expanded incrementally, depending on needs and available resources; <br>- mobility and intuitiveness - the ability to be used on tablets and monitors provides users with transparency of the current operational situation and the availability of real-time data.  <br><br>\r\nThe system complies with the standards of the Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control System A- SMGCS (Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control System), developed by the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL) -
