Millions of tons of waste tires are generated worldwide each year, with landfilling and incineration posing environmental risks. Contec S.A.'s solution allows efficient processing of rubber waste and recovery of valuable raw materials such as ash oil, carbon black (rCB) and synthesis gas. ","opis_przewag":"We are the first pyrolysis plant in the world to use liquid salt as a heat transfer medium. This solution allows us to keep the process running under optimal conditions, making it safer, more efficient and more economical. The molten salt in the tank is injected into a closed circuit, where it distributes the heat around the reactor and then returns to the tank through a specially designed heater. The liquid salt has very good heat transfer characteristics, allowing greater control over the entire process and ensuring reproducible product quality. By using molten salt, the temperature in each part of the reactor is practically the same, thus avoiding thermal stresses which translates into excellent safety parameters.
