ABOUT THE PROJECT

Selvita is a Polish company providing research and development services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. It supports its partners through successive stages of drug discovery and development – from identifying a potential therapeutic target, through preclinical studies, to analysis, formulation development, and preparing products for further stages of research and registration.

The company was founded in Krakow, where its main headquarters is located. Currently, it operates internationally, with research laboratories in Poland and Croatia, and offices in the UK and the United States. Selvita’s team consists of over 950 employees.

WHAT NEEDS DOES THE INNOVATION ADDRESS?

Developing a new drug is a long-term, costly process that requires the cooperation of specialists from many fields. Selvita addresses this need by carrying out both individual studies and comprehensive research programs. Its scope of activity includes, among others, medicinal chemistry, biology, pharmacology, drug metabolism studies, bioanalysis, toxicology, analytical method development, and research on small molecules and biological drugs.
