ABOUT THE PROJECT

GreenEvo – Green Technology Accelerator is a unique program of the Ministry of Climate and Environment to support Polish entrepreneurs in promoting Polish environmental technologies at home and abroad. Its main task is to help Polish small and medium-sized companies establish international contacts, as well as provide knowledge and tools for their dynamic development. The actions taken comprehensively stimulate development and strengthen the position of innovative green technologies in the process of building a circular economy. Since the program’s inception, more than 90 companies have been awarded, bringing more than 100 technologies to market. More than 100 economic missions to more than 70 countries around the world have also been carried out. Currently, 34 awardees are actively participating in the program, offering 44 innovative technologies.

WHAT NEEDS DOES THE INNOVATION ADDRESS?

The GreenEvo program is a key government instrument supporting the transformation towards a sustainable economy and responsible business. It is a best practice in central government-business cooperation. The program was entirely developed and implemented by the government administration, which also acts as a guarantor of technology quality. GreenEvo stimulates the international transfer of green technologies and realistically supports the foreign activity of Polish companies providing modern environmental technologies.

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES

GreenEvo supports the international expansion of the Laureates of the program. To this end, trade missions and economic missions are organized with their participation. Companies are given the opportunity to participate in the most important fairs in the field of environmental technology and matchmaking talks selected within the framework of a specific industry, significantly facilitating contacts between potential business partners. Representatives of companies go through a series of training courses to prepare for international expansion. The program proves that Poland is able to actively engage in international climate protection activities without compromising economic development, and, on the contrary, supporting it with innovative green technologies.
