“Delight in Yourself. Delight yourself in Poland!” is an educational campaign that changes the mindset of the younger generation

The goal of our campaign is to show children and young people that world-changing innovations are being created in Poland. And that behind the great achievements are people they can compare themselves to and identify with. This is a unique educational initiative that combines modern education, builds an evidence-based identity and fosters a sense of agency and self-confidence among the youngest.

Nationwide educational campaign about pride, fitness and Polish role models

The campaign shows children and young people contemporary Polish inventions and innovations in the fields of technology, science, medicine and business, among others. It also shows them the people who create them and that their stories often began with childhood dreams. Thanks to this, students learn that great things don’t just happen abroad, but also here in Poland.

“We believe that children who know that great things are happening right next to them gain more courage to dream, plan and act. At the same time, for this to happen, they need real-life examples – not only of what can be accomplished, but also of who is behind it, that is, who can become.” – Olga Kozierowska

The campaign “Zachwyć się siebie. Zachwyć się Polską!” is aimed at children and young people as well as teachers and educators who are looking for modern and engaging educational materials.

Free educational materials for teachers and students

The campaign consists of free educational materials, available to all teachers and educational institutions. As part of the project, we have created:

  • Lesson scenarios – ready for implementation right away,
  • Worksheets, educational games and activities,
  • Materials for project work, debates and creative activities,
  • short modules (15-20 minutes), also ideal for substitute lessons.

The scenarios have been positively reviewed by methodologists of the Warsaw Center for Educational and Social Innovation and Training and are in line with the current core curriculum.

The materials are tailored to children with special educational needs (SEN), and can be flexibly modified to suit the capabilities and pace of the group. They are also available in English, which allows them to be used in bilingual classrooms and in project work.

Delight in yourself. Delight in Poland – education through emotion, action and cooperation

The materials are designed to foster proficiency and self-confidence, develop creativity, curiosity and critical thinking. They are designed to teach cooperation and teamwork, and to connect school knowledge with the real world, innovation and practice.

Instead of the traditional, sub-lessons, students take part in board games, complete tasks at science stations, participate in discussions and debates, and plan their own goals and dreams.
