ABOUT THE PROJECT

Brainly is a social learning platform where students and experts help each other learn: you can ask questions, get explanations and access a database of studies and solutions. The service is community-based (students, students, teachers and other experts) and encourages “in-group” learning, where helping others strengthens one’s own understanding of the material.

In parallel, Brainly is developing the “AI Learning Companion” approach – a set of tools to support learning, such as homework help, AI tutoring, and generating learning materials, among others.

Brainly launched in Poland (originally as Zadane.pl) and over time has become one of the most recognizable educational brands from Poland with a global reach.

WHAT NEEDS DOES THE INNOVATION ADDRESS?

Brainly answers a very practical problem: what to do when a student gets stuck while studying for a test, an eighth-grade exam or a high school diploma and needs a quick explanation or a clue on how to get to the solution.
The platform also solves the “gap” in access to help: not everyone has the opportunity for tutoring or support at home – Brainly provides exposure to the community and educational content when needed.
In addition, the development of AI functions is expected to support the transition from “just answering” to understanding (explanations, guidance, tools for consolidating material and preparing for tests).
