Deepspot

Deepspot
Europe’s deepest pool

ABOUT THE PROJECT

DEEPSPOT is currently the deepest facility of its kind in Europe – 45m and 45cm deep, a project of Aerotunel, owner of Flyspot (Indoor Skydiving). It was created for all those who dream of equipment diving – Scuba Diving or on stopped breath – Freediving, but have never tried it, as well as beginners and professionals who care about safe conditions for training. The pool is also used by mermaid diving (mermaiding) enthusiasts.

The pool fills 9100 m3 of water, and the facility provides an even temperature throughout its depth.

Advanced engineering technologies have been used: filtration and circulation systems for 9100 m³ of water, maintaining a uniform temperature throughout the depth, and visualization and multimedia solutions (e.g. cameras, video systems for customers). It’s also a social innovation – access to an extreme experience in a safe, democratic and inclusive way.

WHAT NEEDS DOES THE INNOVATION ADDRESS?

1. safe environment for learning and training diving – provides stable, controlled conditions, unlike the sea, lake or ocean, where currents, temperature, weather conditions, visibility affect. Ideal for beginners who are afraid to start learning in open water.

2. Constant, comfortable water temperature (32-34°C) – eliminates the cold barrier, especially important in Polish climatic conditions. Increases training comfort, reduces preparation and recovery time.

3. Available year-round – traditional seasonal diving – Deepspot is year-round, independent of weather conditions. It allows systematic training, crucial in freediving, for example.

4. Development of the market for underwater recreation and education – allows access to the experience of diving for people who are afraid of open water and/or do not have access to the sea or lakes.

5. Support of professionals, services and athletes – training of emergency services, special forces, astronauts, athletes. Testing of diving equipment under safe laboratory conditions.

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES

1. local accessibility and social mission – its location in Central and Eastern Europe makes Deepspot uniquely accessible to many countries (Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Baltic States). It is an educational and sports facility designed for a wide range of audiences – from children to uniformed services.

Deepspot is a real training center with platforms for instructors, places to practice freediving techniques, zones of different depths and access to climbing walls and underwater observatories.

2. Sustainable engineering and operational design – less water and energy consumption. Advanced filtration and temperature maintenance system optimized for energy efficiency and green operation.

3. developed digital infrastructure: users receive videos and photos of their stay, track their sessions, book online. A monitoring and security system that can provide data for trainers and instructors (e.g., movement analysis, technique evaluation).
