The painless and comfortable alternative to traditional endoscopy eliminates the need for hospitalization. The technology combines an endoscopy capsule, a mobile app and a telemedicine platform – an image analysis system supported by artificial intelligence.

AI algorithms automatically detect lesions, assisting doctors in faster diagnosis. BioCam offers an affordable, convenient and effective solution that makes preventive screenings more accessible and improves the quality of health care.

WHAT NEEDS DOES THE INNOVATION ADDRESS?

Diseases of the digestive system, including cancer, are often detected too late. Many people avoid endoscopy due to discomfort, cost and the need for hospitalization. BioCam enables painless, at-home diagnosis of the entire gastrointestinal tract, eliminating the need for anesthesia or a hospital stay. The technology reduces the time to analyze results from 6-12 hours to 30 minutes, allowing doctors to respond more quickly. In veterinary medicine, BioCam capsules address the difficult availability of endoscopy and the risks associated with anesthesia in animals.
